Even More Stupidity on FB

Some wind-up toy (Linda Jacobs Rice) on FuckBook posted this piece of drivel, and for some reason it just got on my very last nerve.  Here's the post and my response, deliberately worded to avoid Ef-Bee's robo censures.

You have no idea how much I pay in taxes, nor do you know how much Musk, Bezos, or Zuckerberg actually make or pay in taxes.  I note you don't mention Gates, Buffet, Page, or Ellison.

Tell me, how many meals you missed because of Zuckerberg's income or taxes?  How about your family - have any of them suffered any hardships due to some billionaire's wealth?

If you need something to complain about, how about finding yourself a worthy cause, such as Sharia Law which allows a husband to beat his wife with a rod (but not to excess!) should she displease him.  How about FGM, as practiced in Africa and Islamic countries, or maybe the prevalence of HIV in Africa, or the automatic execution of gay men in ISIL.

But no.  It's those billionaires not paying their fair share that's ending civilization as some of us wish it could be.

Rice, the OP, is likely primarily driven by a desire to conform; to be a member in good standing with the herd.  I would guess that her secondary motivation is jealousy, or perhaps envy of the wealth of others.

You see, I know something about Rice.  She comes from a family that are upper middle class, and when she was growing up she suffered very little hardship, and no economic hardship at all.  There was always food on the table and an upper middle class roof over her head.  The old homestead was air conditioned and heated as the climate dictated, and her father didn't have to sleep with a pistol under his pillow least the home be invaded, nor was her sleep ever disturbed by boom cars or parties in the street that lasted until the cops were called at three in the morning to cuff and stuff a few porch monkeys involved in a violent domestic.

Now [insert preferred pronoun here] complains about billionaires because, well, the other issues are far too complex for her delicate little sensibilities to cope with, and no one has told her what to do.

Mind you, I hate muzzies.  Those bearded devil worshiping goat fuckers could all be rounded up and marched into the ocean, and the world would be a better place.

However.

Were this my wife - and just thinking about that makes me want a martini or two - were this my wife, I'd tell her to find herself a worthwhile cause to protest, and back her objections up with education.  Failure to do so would cause me to switch to Islam, obtain a suitable rod from my Imam to be used for disciplining my wife, then deliver a half-dozen well placed shots to her rear.  And, much like the defeat of Japan in WWII, if dropping one bomb didn't achieve the desired affect, I'd repeat the procedure.  Then I'd denounce Islam and switch back to Christianity.
