Nine-Eleven, The Day After

Since everyone knows what happened on September 11th, 2001, I'm not going to write a repetition.  What follows is a brief personal opinion of the events that should have followed the attack.

Content Warning: If you're a thin skinned social justice warrior, LGBT - et al. member, follower, or supporter, or you're sensitive to racial slurs and easily insulted - keep reading.  You'll die of an apoplexy and the world will be a better place - to an infinitely small degree, maybe, but still a better place.

When the enemy Islamic delivered a sneak attack against the United States, I thought it was comparable to the Japanese attacking Pearl Harbor which started the U.S. involvement in WW II.  I still think that, and I expected a similar response from our government.

I was disappointed in the actions of Republican President George W. Bush (King George II).  What I believe he should have done was flown to ground zero and delivered a speech defying our enemies and declaring that the United States would hunt these Islamic cowards down and kill them.  He should have also stated that if any country opposed the United States or provide succor to these cowardly enemies, the President will ask Congress to declare war on that county.  When Congress declares war, we'll go to war, and we'll win.

Another item that's not mentioned often enough is United Flight 93, which was on its way to another target, but which was taken out by the crew and passengers.  In my opinion the crew and passengers of United Flight 93 should be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for fighting back against the enemy and for their sacrifice.

In Toledo, Ohio, in the University of Toledo's Student Union, the television was turned to the news.  Every time the Trade Center was shown, a group of people cheered.  They were students at the university, and every one of them should have been beaten within an inch of their worthless lives before being arrested and jailed as spies.

The lack of a strong response from our government, the passage of the unpatriotic Patriot Act, and the inordinate length of time it took to lay violent hands upon the guilty Islamic, all indicate a government that does not have the best interests of the citizens at heart.  Look at the US today and try convincing me this didn't portend future incompetence.  We have a presidential election that's suspect, a President that is clearly suffering dementia, several other elected officials that are in the same state, and an economy that is doomed to complete collapse.

I probably won't be around to see it, for which I'm grateful, but for those of you who are - praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

I can't go with you on all of that, but the stronger response, and the idiots at college, I'm pretty okay with.

I remember the Arab population of Patterson, NJ handing out candy in celebration. The feds and state made sure their free speech was protected from reprisal.

I would have bull dozed the neighborhood.

That whole episode has been conveniently scrubbed from the internet.

Jo-Anne: About half of the local politicos would be ecstatically happy if we-the-people forgot all about it. It seems to be getting in the way of their own agenda.

CW: I don't expect everyone to agree with me, and I'm glad you don't. It's people like you who prevent people like me from burning down the house and dynamiting the bridge - from the wrong side.

Gerry: I would have gladly bought fuel for the 'dozer. What I really wanted was a gang of motorcycle outlaws to see what was happening and take offense.

Yeah… 911 for me is like the JFK assassination. Who knows what’s really going on? I wouldna thunk anyone could be so evil…but there are any number of parties that are, including our own people. Fires that burn through structural steel but spare the passports of the perps? A building collapse that looks like a controlled implosion? Conspiracy inside conspiracies.

I’d love to scoff and laugh at the conspiracy tin foil hats… but today… a war in the Kraine, that we started, against an “adversary” we’ve been taunting and tormenting for decades. Treaties WE violated. An ally more corrupt than Mexico. Between 400,000 ~ 500,000 dead. Those kids that cheered the towers coming down?

I dunno Jack.

I don't believe the official explanation for the JFK assassination. I didn't then and I don't now. I, personally, think it was the US Government, and the motivation may have been money. JFK was taking us out of 'nam, and there was big money being made in 'nam. Another reason might have been that JFK was considering a preemptive nuclear strike against the USSR. He'd just made Khrushchev blink. He might have deduced that the USSR wasn't as well-armed as Nikita wanted everyone to believe.

Nine-eleven was a terrorist attack motivated by a group of devil worshiping rag heads. But then, like you say, there's the whole building collapse thing.

And the Ukraine? Why would anyone want the Ukraine? By the time that war is over, the whole place will be condemned.

The whole business with Mexico probably started with oil (Mexico) for an open border, then the drug business took off. Now? If the U.S. actually closed the southern border, the illegals would go to Canada and come across the northern border - but only in the summer. They'd hit a Canadian winter just once, and those that survived would leave and never come back.
