President Trump and the State of the Union in 2018

I watched President Trump's State of the Union speech last night.  The moonbats refused to applaud or even rise when the President entered the room, and most of them looked too sour to make lemonade with.  Under other circumstances, I'd find their behavior funny.  This, however, is the federal government, and the rest of the world is watching.

The Democrats are behaving badly, like petulant, spoiled children who have just been told that they can't play video games until they finish their homework.  This is rude behavior, and the real trouble is that there are no ramifications for their rudeness.

The moonbats truly do not understand what went wrong with the last presidential election.  All they have to do is read President Trump's biography, even a summary, and they'll start to understand.  I'm betting the moonbats refuse to acknowledge the President even has a biography.  Want a little more insight?  Take a hard look at the First Lady.  Melania Trump speaks five languages, is drop dead gorgeous, and has a very fine sense of aesthetics.  You don't get a woman like that to marry you just by being rich; she can have more rich men than any moonbat can count without taking of his shoes and mine.  Nope, you want a woman like that, you've gotta be all that and a fifth of top shelf bourbon.

The moonbats behaved like asses. Some are ignorant, others are stupid and ignorant, and still others are willfully ignorant and damn' proud of it.  Outside of a few notable exceptions, the Democrats are just plain mean spirited.  We, the great unwashed, don't need people like that in our government, but they won the popularity contest, so there they are.  Acting out and busy being as dumb as they look.

President Trump played them like Frank Zappa throwing out notes from a Fender Strat.

Excellent synopsis. I more than once found myself on the verge of asking God to judge them for their petty game-playing- especially when Ji Song Ho (?) was up there, after all he went through and why, waving his crutches. I thought it spoke well that Trump absolutely humiliated them without once saying a bad thing about them. And while I prayed for them in the end, I hope part of that judgement is having to watch that speech again- with their private thoughts on the screen as closed-captions.

The private thoughts would be interesting, to say the least.

Introducing Ji Seong-ho and telling his story is typical of President Trump, and I'm told that what you see is pretty much what you get all the time. He'll stop and talk to anyone who is just hanging around, doing menial jobs, shake hands with people, and spend his time getting to know the people around him such as his Secret Service detail. He's one of the few that knows the names of the men watching out for his safety, whether or not they're married, their children's names, all that. He's been described as being nice.

I really don't know what to think of the Democrats. The party wasn't always like that - except for the 1968 Democratic Convention. So, I guess they really have been like that all along. It's just that they're more open about their feelings now.

Good of you to pray for them.

I think you called this one straight down the pike (and I don't even LIKE Frank Zappa...lol).

Well done & well said.

Stay safe out there.
