PET Scan Results

In short, I'm cancer free.  I have no cancer.

This whole business was a long walk, starting with nothing to eat since midnight, the traffic headed into downtown Columbus (which is nuts), and the trip augmented by orange cone season and a nice, steady rain.  Some of the worst drivers in the world are operating in Columbus.

The PET scan is easy, but it takes time.  The results show no signs of cancer, but I do have a polyp in my sinus cavity which the ENT Doc says is no good.  He gave me some antibiotics and told me to take it easy.

By the time the entire business was a done deal, it was 2:00 PM and I had not eaten anything, so I was off to a local hole in the wall for a meatloaf and gravy dinner - delicious!

My sincere thanks to all of you who kept me in your prayers.  The Lord has given you an answer, for which I am thankful.

I suspect it was all a clever ruse to escape household chores and instill sympathy in the old lady.

I may well try it myself. I’d love to have a bed pan and the wife empty it for me... :)

Now THAT'S the kind of news all of us like to hear.
(and I know full well the D/T Columbus traffic...hasn't gotten any better in 20+ years, appraently)

I'll BET that meatloaf tasted DAMN fine, too after all that!

Stay safe and stay well.
