I've written about John Gentry before, and found the latest speculation about Gentry's whereabouts last night, along with some decent photos of him - used without permission from the owner, CBS Detroit

Officer Thomas White - No Trial in Sight
I've written about this piece of human waste before. Cop Shooting - (ex) Officer Thomas White is Still Free is one example, and a casual search will turn up others. I predicted that this unrepentant criminal wouldn't serve any time, and so far my money is safe.

Wanted: John Kelly Gentry, Jr.
In the middle of my morning snort, the talking head on the idiot box (CBS Detroit) got my attention with a story on this murdering thug, John Kelly Gentry, Jr. You can read the whole story in Age Progressed Photo Shows Fugitive On The Run For Michigan Murder Since 1983.
I mentioned Gentry in passing in a previous post. I knew John Gentry back in 1969, and he was a little strange then. I (rightfully) believed he was dangerous and so didn't hang around with him. Later on he allegedly committed two murders, one by using an ax. Not being completely stupid, he stole a car and fled the area. And that was that.
Personally, I think it's likely that Gentry either crossed over into Mexico and is living out his life south of the border, or he ran up against someone who was a lot like he was, and his body hasn't been found - and probably never will be. If he's alive, I'd like to see him caught, then given a fair trial and a fine hanging.
If you see Gentry or know where he is, call Detective Jeff Smith at (734) 240-7530.

Pack Your Gat
I used to live in Mad City, and have been to Milwaukee a time or two. The warning I got from people in the know was to be careful, Milwaukee was a dangerous place. I didn't find it so at the time, but as they say, That was then and this is now.

In Memorium
R.I.P. Mike Vanderboegh
May you live long in memory
Please host this flag on your site as a show of respect. The family asks that if you face book, please change your pic to the flag.
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.
And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later. We will live forever, like the Spartans at Thermopylae, in sacred memory.

Happy 50th Anniversary
Fifty years ago today at the University of Texas in Austin a murdering little psychopath named Charles Whitman assembled an extensive arsenal of firearms and ammo, then climbed to the top of the 300 foot clock tower at UT and opened fire. He shot 49 people, killing 16.
