What I'd like to know is what we did in the bad old days before we all learned about wind chill.  I guess we didn't know that when it was ten below zero and the wind was blowing like a son-of-a-bitch, it was colder working outside in the wind than it was inside, in the barn.  It was also warmer in the woods where the trees blocked the wind than it was in an open field, where there wasn't a thing to block that 30 mph wind from taking your breath away.

I guess we all just froze to death.
