Watch a Decisive Victory

I got this from the Prehistoric Naval Flight Officer, who highly recommended it.  As usual, he's understated the video content.

Have you ever had to deal with a public school board?  Have any of you ever met the conceited fatheads who are supposed to be serving on the school board, and keeping the best interests of the students and parents somewhere near the top of their list of priorities?

Ever considered... never mind.

Like Old NFO, I rarely post a video, but this one is rare.  Note the delivery as well as the content.

The speech overruns the BOE for eleven minutes, although they try to object a few times.

Not only does Tatiyana Ibrahim deliver her speech in a clear voice, she's fast on her feet and not a bit intimidated by the school board or the camera.  I tend to think she practiced and she's had training.

You can follow this link to the Carmel Central School District Board of Education, and scroll down for a list of members.

Needless to say, I absolutely loved the speech.  The BOE got what they had coming to them, and I see this is the beginning of a long and vehement relationship.

For years I've maintained that the public school classrooms should be monitored by the parents.  School teachers won't allow it, and neither will the board of ed. - and right here is the reason.  You have no real idea what the instructor is teaching your child, and as a parent, you certainly should.

My thanks to the Old NFO for posting this one.  It did my heart good to watch this firebrand give the school board a double helping of reality - you work for me!  I don't work for you.

Ed: I'd say past time. I liked this woman; I hope she runs for office.

Absolutely.

I went to a PTA meeting once, and whole gong show was run by finks like this, and a couple single lunatic women representing the 'parents'. These people do it because they know they can get away with it. And they won't stop until somebody stands up and stops them.

Glen: I'd pay $20 cash and a bottle of top shelf bourbon to see you participate in a PTA meeting.
