Support Question (2017-02-21)

In the normal course of things, I generally stay away from problem sites (wait for the laughter and clever comments to die down).  All that being the case, I got this screen a few minutes ago and don't quite know what I should be doing about it, if anything.

Could some kind soul please enlighten me as to what this is?  Firefox stopped responding and I had to shut it down via the task manager.  I'm running Windoze 7.

Thanks in advance.

I would guess a virus that wants to get you to turn over remote control to a "Microsoft tech". Try running malwarebytes if you have it, it's free and made to dispose of riff-raff like that.

Thanks CW. I ran:
AVG
SpyBot free edition
Webroot SecureAnywhere ver 9.0.15.40
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home Premium ver 2.2.1.1043

None of these programs found anything, so I'm feeling relieved.

So my IT guy said that is a phishing site and do not click or call. They will try to hack into your system and often leave a virus.

Oh, and lots of smoochies.

Smoochies? I get smoochies?

I'm speechless.
